Here are illustrations of just three ideas for mixed use options in the three floors of 'Borders'.

Invista Real Estate Investment Management who own the Borders building are demanding half a million pounds a year in rent and almost the same again in maintenance.  But even at those extortionate rents, there are commercially viable alternatives to chain stores which should be explored if Kingston is to be a thriving community and tourist destination as well as a commercial success.

Please look at our range of options and vote or have your say on other ideas.  Here is just one vision of the future but there are many possibilities and it is important you have your say.

FIRST FLOOR - HUB CAFÉ

More and more people work from home or run small businesses without an office of their own.

Kingston needs a place where they can meet clients, hold larger meetings, run trainings, etc. Community meetings, workshops and exhibitions can be held here.

Cabaret Style Venue

LOWER GROUND FLOOR
- CABARET-CLUB STYLE VENUE

Very few music venues exist in London at all, let alone in Kingston, and yet the popular mood seems to be against the X-Factor and more for live opportunities to showcase British talent. Let's enjoy it together and why not with a meal from the restaurant?
