Jane's Walk hire a new Director for Toronto HQ

Jane's Walk, The organisation set up after the death of Jane Jacobs to continue her legacy has appointed a new Director, Peter Foley. This appointment will be important for us as you can see below in this item.
Peter is a wonderful combination of urbanist, entrepreneur and new media wizzard. His company, Artez Interactive, taps the digital universe to support not-for-profits in their fund-raising efforts. Vital Kingston wishes Peter well in his new role!
Jane's Walk was instituted in 2007 by friends of Jane Jacobs shortly after her death. Inspired by her ideas, the group promotes community walks as a platform for observation and conversation.
Vital Kingston organised a dress rehearsal Jane's Walk on 1st October 2011 as part of 'Think in Kingston' Month.
5/6 May 2012 is Jane's Walk weekend 'proper' and so a main walk will be organised then. Do get in touch if you would like to be involved in organising or participating!
